Recently we came across a good article on wedding budget tips. When we come across information that is valuable to brides and grooms we will try to add it here as party of our ongoing wedding tips. The wedding photography is definitely our focus but we will strive to provide information for everything wedding where we feel the advice is good and relevant.
The wedding budget tips article is posted on bridalguide.com. They cover everything from making a comparison chart to being creative on venue, season and timing. As an example when we got married we had our ceremony on a week day. It was a holiday mid week. Our friends and family who were coming in from out of town or oversees were coming for the week anyway and in some cases it was easier to fly in for Saturday to Saturday so mid week made it more convenient. For local people they were off and it made for a summer party atmosphere. As it was a traditional fireworks day we had the added benefit of a summer fireworks show as part of the party. Booking on a week day for everything from the limo, venue to band gave us more choice and a better chance to negotiate a deal.
From a photographers perspective when looking at wedding budget tips using a nontraditional venue such as a garden, harbor, old “mansions” or state homes, farms and rustic areas can provide a great background for stunning pictures if that is a look that you are comfortable with.
If you are looking for somewhere a little different Milton offers lots of conservation areas, farms, the butterfly conservatory in the Kitchener area, a few museums, the RBG or other not to far locations. You can also check out these lists on ceremonylocations.ca.

The Blink Of An Eye Wedding Photographer team is all female and ideal for South Asian weddings and other cultures that require a female wedding photographer to document the bride and her family while she is getting ready.
Even where cultures and customs do not necessitate a female wedding photographer we find that many brides feel more comfortable and at home with a female wedding photographer team to document the day prior to the ceremony. Having been trained as a doula in addition to the many pregnant and nursing moms that we have in our studio we strive to make any woman comfortable in any situation. Your wedding day can be stressful and having someone that you feel comfortable while getting your make up ready, getting dressed and bonding with your bridal party can impact the overall tone of the day.
