Rain Wedding Photography Planning
When planning any wedding if it is an outside wedding or if you are planning your pictures in a garden, by the lake, conservation area etc.. outside you should always have a plan or two for various weather scenarios. If there is a little drizzle we will cover out equipment but will the garden grounds be soft or muddy? Is that OK? Will all the ladies bring flat shoes (heals really dig into the mud). You can also get some lovely photographs using fun or clear umbrellas.
That might be great for the wedding party but will it be OK for the younger and older guests / family? We may need to split up the pictures and do some outside and some indoors?
What is the plan if it is a thunderstorm and the weather is inappropriate for anyone to go outside. Before your special day we will need to understand what the hall or church can accommodate for large group pictures?
Did you want to get dressed back up the next days or a few days later and do a post wedding photography session? There are many reasons to due this, not just the weather.
As with every one day event planning for all occasions is an important part.
